What this page collects

Last updated 27 September 2026. This notice covers the vibecord.dev homepage and the setup flow on it. VibeCord's Privacy Policy covers your account and the app.

VibeCord Technologies runs this page. Here's what it records when you visit, set something up or leave your email, where that goes, and how to have it deleted.

When you use this page

We record what you do here so we can see what people want:

  • which option you open, which steps you reach, and whether you tap Continue to payment
  • the choices you make while setting up, including anything you type, such as a bot description, a server name, plugin names or your rules
  • how far you scroll and which questions you open
  • your answers to the optional questions after you leave your email, and a code from a post or video if you add one

Each record also carries the page address, the site, app or link that sent you here (including any campaign tags or code in the link), your browser and device type, your screen width and a random ID. It doesn't include your name.

Your browser's local storage keeps the random ID, the campaign tags, where your first and latest visits came from, and your unfinished setup, so a return visit counts as the same visitor and your setup is still there. If your device is set to a European time zone, or sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, where your first and latest visits came from is kept for the current tab only. The random ID, the campaign tags and your unfinished setup are still kept in local storage.

These records go to VibeCord's own servers on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Sydney, Australia.

Analytics

We also send the same records to PostHog, an analytics service that stores them in the United States. PostHog sets its own cookies. It uses your IP address to estimate your location, and it records a replay of how you move through the page. Replays hide everything you type into fields and the text you entered for your setup. PostHog receives the length of that text, not the text itself.

PostHog isn't loaded at all if your device is set to a European time zone, or sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Only the records described above are kept then.

If you leave your email

We store your email address with the setup you chose, on the same AWS servers in Sydney. We'll only email you about this slot.

This page never asks for card or payment details. When checkout is open for your plan, Continue to payment takes you to Stripe's own page. Stripe collects your card under its privacy policy and tells us your email and the plan you picked, with the setup this page saved. We never see your card number.

Asking us to delete your data

Email privacy@vibecord.dev and ask us to delete your data. If you left your email, write from that address or tell us which address you used. We'll delete your email, your saved setup and the records linked to them within 30 days.

Questions about this notice go to the same address. This page is for people aged 13 and over.
